Went to bed shattered last night at around 10pm. The camper bed is not the most comfy but we slept like logs (apart from waking up briefly in the night by the rain) until being woken at 5am by a very noisy bird :) I grabbed a banana & left Lee to find some 'proper' breakfast & headed back down the beach to make the most of the gorgeous weather as the forecast says there's a 40% chance of rain later...
We were so tired last night that I forgot to put the nature cam out but will definitely do it tonight. Apparently there are a lot of possums around the camp at night which can be a nuisance for the tent campers but I'm looking forward to seeing them as that will be another first and as they're not clever enough to pick locks, our stuff should be safe in the van!
Green Patch camping area is located in beautiful Booderee National Park at Jervis Bay.. The sand is so white & soft here it's like walking on powder :)
