Up at 5am for a quick trip back to Shelley Beach so we have enough time to get back to camp for a shower & off the site proper by 10am. Unfortunately we missed sunrise by 10 minutes but at this time in the morning Australia is even more stunningly beautiful :)

Handed the keys in to the lovely Julie at Reception (who gave us the free vino when we arrived!) Here she is with her Staffie Annie who needed a bit of a bribe to pose :)

Now off to Herron WA to spend New Years with old school friends Maria & Ash who I've only seen once in 30 years! Having a lunch stop off on the way :)

Stopped at Banbury for lunch where we saw Bevan selling the big issue outside the cafe. Nobody seemed to be buying from him (although they were stopping to ask for directions) so we got him a coffee & a muffin. After lunch we went out and he was talking to a guy called Peter who has known him all his life & looks out for him. We bought a mag and had a chat with them & back in the van I Googled 'Bevan Big Issue Bunbury' & found he is famous around his home town! http://www.thebigissue.org.au/vendors/bevan/

Having such an amazing time at Maria & Ashleys but the photos are going to have to wait until tomorrow because for tonight I'm going to just concentrate on having fun & fun we're having!!
